Back in 2013, Veridian co-founders Jason Rosing and Sandeep Patel found themselves facing a very interesting set of challenges. Their client, leading bottled water manufacturer Niagara Bottling was quickly outgrowing their existing systems. At the time Niagara was preparing to deploy an upgraded ERP, but first it needed to get seven sites up and running on Manhattan’s WMOS solution in just six months.
Years before this critical moment in Niagara’s history, Jason and Sandeep recall working for a big American coffeehouse chain many of you know and love. At that time, Manhattan had recently updated their WMS software to address the impending needs of the omni-channel landscape. While the solution was robust and inclusive of all the functionality required by the world’s leading distributors, it came with considerably more complexity than prior versions of Manhattan’s WMS solutions. The project came with many challenges but in the end, was a huge success. The Veridian team made significant contributions to the team effort and one member was even awarded the project MVP, personally signed by company CEO Howard Shulz.
